Am so happy to finally be able to try their pies. A Pie Thing had been there in Uptown for quite some time. Easily spotted as the shop is facing LDP with a bright signboard at the corner. 

A cool concept of making pies the main thing. The environment was cozy and simple with few tables outside of the shop and some bar top tables and chairs too.

Long awaited post. Korean food is my favourite after Thai food. This restaurant is not something new. Has been there in Damansara Uptown for quite some time. I remember visiting the restaurant a couple of months after its launching. The food and service was totally awesome. I went again last month and hoping that the food and service remains excellent. And yes, they did not disappoint me.

The staff was friendly and attend to you quickly, unless there's lots of customers and they are too busy. On the second visit, they do provide grilling service where they will cook the meat for customers if the customers request to do so.

The menu has quite a lot of choices of meat. Prices are reasonable in such environment. Like many others, there must be minimum 2 sets for BBQ orders. I choosed 2 pork meat.

The side dishes attract me the most during my first visit back then. They were delicious and the quality is there. They are still maintaining it. The staff in Han Woo Ri was generous to give us refill on the side dishes as well. Unlike few others restaurant, they are so reluctant and pretended they didn't see us raising up our hands or pretended they were so busy until forgot to attend to my request. When this happen, I get super annoyed.

They also serve a bowl of soup each. Not sure what soup was that called but it was yummy!

A closer look to the pork belly that I ordered. They were big and definitely enough to fill our hungry stomach.

I can't wait again for my third visit. Highly recommended restaurant if you're Korean food lover.

Green tea is one of my favourite especially when comes to dessert. I love anything with green tea! Nana's Green Tea first opened in Mid Valley. I've been there once on weekdays and had the Matcha Shiratama Float alone. It was so good and I brought my bf on a Saturday after that and damn...the queue was so long and I decided not to wait. 

Thankfully, now they are here in 1 Utama with bigger space and more tables.No queues during weekend as well.

It's been a while since I last updated my blog. I was tired with the house renovations stuff and had a hard time choosing paint colours for the walls. I actually did some Cream Caramel Pudding dessert experiment last week and also Iced Green Tea Latte. First attempt was quite success and will share the recipe next time.

It's Saturday and guess its a good time to post this. I've been wanting to visit Rekindle and finally I had the chance today to visit with my friend for a short catch up. I went there at about 3.30pm. Definitely a peak hour in Rekindle. But thankfully, we managed to get a place for two. 

Rekindle serves a wide range of drinks which includes coffee, tea, juices and cakes as well. Definitely a place for coffee and dessert lover like me. 

Cappuccino (RM10)

I like it!

The Cappuccino is good! The milk was at the right temperature and that allows to maintain the coffee flavour and texture. The latte art...hmm...maybe can still be improved. :)

I bought Groupon voucher for Korea House BBQ Restaurant few weeks ago when Groupon had promotion of RM20 off for purchase above RM40. So I visited the restaurant on Saturday night. The voucher I bought comes with a selection of 3 types of meat (pork, chicken or lamb). I chosed Pork Belly and Marinated Lamb.

This is the first time I'm sharing my eating out post in my blog. Visited Double Park Cafe & Bar in SS2 during weekend for dinner. I remember this cafe was previously the UFO Desserts and if I'm not mistaken, this cafe is quite new.

It is a suitable place for catching up with friends or just to chill on a weekend night with friends. There's live band in this cafe too. Definitely a strong competitor for Wings Music Cafe located on the same street.

So, we ordered this Curry Pork Chop Rice (RM13.90) listed in the Signature Rice section in the menu. Tasted OK and acceptable.

I ordered this Pork Chop (RM17.90) with mushroom sauce. Again, nothing special. It's rather bland and I need to eat with chilli sauce. Guess I can cook better than this.

Also ordered this Grass Jelly Shaved Ice with sweet potato, taro ball, yogurt ball and red beans (RM7.50). The shaved ice actually tasted weird. Some sort of chemical-like taste. Not sure why it tasted like that. The yogurt ball was good though.

I also ordered a glass of Honey Lemon Ice (RM5.90). Taste good but a little bit too sweet for me. 

Overall, it was an average dinner on a Saturday night with bf. I think it is a suitable place for hanging out with friends because Double Park Cafe & Bar serves quite a wide variety of drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
