I bought Groupon voucher for Korea House BBQ Restaurant few weeks ago when Groupon had promotion of RM20 off for purchase above RM40. So I visited the restaurant on Saturday night. The voucher I bought comes with a selection of 3 types of meat (pork, chicken or lamb). I chosed Pork Belly and Marinated Lamb.
Here's the 10 refillable side dishes. Everything was OK and I particularly love the lotus root and radish kimchi.
I also ordered Kimchi Jigae (RM15). It was good. I seldom can find such good taste and cheap kimchi soup in PJ. The soup comes with rice as well with no extra charge.
Here comes the Pork Belly. This Korean Restaurant does not have the bbq stove on the table. They will prepare the meat for customers and serve them in the plate. However, there's still smokey smell on my hair and shirt even though the bbq is happening in their kitchen.
Pork belly was BBQ-ed to the right texture but the slices was slightly thin.
The marinated lamb was OK as well but I prefer it to be not too heavily coated with the spices.
One problem I faced with is during peak hour (about 8pm), I hardly can get the waiter's attention for a refill on the side dish. I will visit again for the Pork and Kimchi Soup for sure.
Total Damage: RM25(Groupon) + RM16 (Kimchi soup)
