Vanilla Orange Overnight Oats

This is one of my new favourite overnight oats. I super love Yoplait's Vanilla Yogurt. Not too sweet and not too sour, with light vanilla taste.

There's some request from friends on pictures of what brand of oats, yogurt that I used and step by step pictures of making overnight oats.

Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

Another delicious overnight oats made topped with lovely strawberries and banana. Finished up my strawberries from the fridge for this. I'm satisfied with how I made use of the strawberries.

The basic ingredients are the same as normal overnight oats with milk and yogurt, just the toppings are different.

Orange Chiffon Cake (without cream of tartar)

At first I was thinking of making green tea chiffon cake but I couldn't find green tea powder in Bake With Yen last Saturday. Got to wait for them to restock the green tea powder.

And so, I decided to go for Orange Chiffon Cake. I didn't make this before. I only did Chocolate Chiffon Cake but that time I bake it in a square baking tin instead of a chiffon tin. It turns out not as good as those baked in chiffon tin. This time, I use the 22cm chiffon tin I bought from Bake With Yen a couple of weeks ago. It was good. No leaking from the bottom. :)

Blueberry Banana Baked Oatmeal

I am really obsessed with oats since a couple of months back. I started making overnight oats everyday for my breakfast. Personally, I prefer rolled oats compare to quick cooking oats because I like to feel the texture of the oats. Quick cooking oats is too fine for that.

I tried to make this baked oatmeal on Saturday for my brunch since I don't really have time to go out for lunch. Easy, quick and healthy meal. This baked oatmeal is inspired from The Oatmeal Artist

Bittergourd Soup

This is the second time I'm boiling bittergourd soup. I found most recipes  use pork bone to boil this soup but I replaced them with chicken (because it's cheaper :P )
Boiled this soup for my family and am glad they love it.

Chocolate Walnut Brownies

Easy and simple cake to make on a weekend. There are many types of brownies you can make. Fudgy brownies, chewy brownies, cake brownies. Each with different texture. I made this brownies with cakey and slightly fudgy texture brownies. So yummy!

I've seen many pictures of brownies on Pinterest and most of the have cracks and crunchy surface. I once made brownies before and couldn't get that texture. Now, I've discover the trick in getting that crust on top of the brownie.

Sometimes, I feel like having something light for breakfast in the morning. Not too complicated with the taste, yet refreshing. So I plan to make this Blueberry Lemon Overnight Oats after browsing through lots of overnight oats recipes in several sites and blogs. If you want to have something more flavorful or more exciting, you can try the Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats recipe in my previous post.

In this recipe, I only use 3 main ingredients. Chicken, potato and carrot. Sometimes I do add hard boiled eggs as well.

Homemade Mango Ice Cream

I have lots of mangoes at home last week and I don't know what to with it. After few days eating them, I decided to make some dessert using the mangoes.

While I was browsing some blogs, I found mango ice cream recipe. Ice cream is going to be awesome for such hot weather here. I adapted the recipe from tomatoblues.com and made some changes to the measurement.

Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats

First time making Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats. Peanut butter adds the kick to the flavour. You can feel the texture is a bit creamy because of the peanut butter in it.

For the peanut butter, I use Yogood PB with no sugar added.

Stir Fry French Beans with Luncheon Meat

I have extra luncheon meat in the fridge and was thinking what to do with it. Instead of just frying it with egg which is what we commonly do, I decided to cook it with french beans for dinner.

Love For Food

I am Malaysian with a full time job in an IT office who love to cook, bake and eat. Chinese, Western, Fusion, and sometimes a mix of everything. I simply love to try out anything that I can. I'm still improving my baking skills. For me, cooking and baking is like trial and error. Cut the intro short, I will be sharing as much recipes that I can and what I cook over here in Malaysia. Enjoyy~
