[YummyEats] Little Wonton Cafe, TTDI

Little Wonton Cafe
1st Floor, 20-1, Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
Open Tue - Fri, 12pm to 10pm, Sat - Sun, 11am - 10pm

Little Wonton Cafe was featured in 8tv Ho Chak program. It caught my attention when I heard about the noodles and different kind of wontons they have. Usually I had either fried wonton or wonton dumplings in soup when I have wonton noodles. Here in Little Wonton Cafe, they serve no ordinary fried wonton.

Here, they have air fried wontons with different kind of fillings to choose from. So, afraid not of the oil since it is air fried. Guilt-free!

Green tea is one of my favourite especially when comes to dessert. I love anything with green tea! Nana's Green Tea first opened in Mid Valley. I've been there once on weekdays and had the Matcha Shiratama Float alone. It was so good and I brought my bf on a Saturday after that and damn...the queue was so long and I decided not to wait.

Thankfully, now they are here in 1 Utama with bigger space and more tables. No queues during weekend as well.

It's been a while since I last updated my blog. I was tired with the house renovations stuff and had a hard time choosing paint colours for the walls. I actually did some Cream Caramel Pudding dessert experiment last week and also Iced Green Tea Latte. First attempt was quite success and will share the recipe next time.

 Simple deco fills the space

Back to the topic. If I'm not mistaken, Chuup was opened in somewhere around beginning of the year.

[YummyEats] Bros. Cafe (Korean Dessert Cafe), Seremban 2

Bros. Cafe
No. 297, Jalan S2 B13, Uptown Avenue, Seremban 2, 70300 Seremban, N. Sembilan
Open Mon - Sun, 11am to 11pm
012-6772081 or 012-9680208

I almost forgotten to share this post. I actually went for a Malacca food trip a couple of weeks ago and stopped by Seremban. A friend recommended this cafe quite some time ago and of course I've been wanting to go since I'm a dessert lover.

Bros. Cafe do serves coffee at the ground floor but I didn't try their coffee. Bingsoo (Korean shaved ice dessert) is served on the first floor and customer have to order from there.

Nak-Cha Bingsoo (RM20)
Just OK..
Rating: 3/5

I was having hard time in making decision on which one to order. They have several choices and finally I go for this green tea bingsoo. It was served with green tea ice cream, red bean paste-like topped with nuts and oats and some sweetener. I love the green tea ice cream. The red bean paste was too sweet for me though.

I guess RM20 is a little bit overpriced.

Some descriptions of the bingsoo available.

The menu is available over the counter where they put it in their ipad. :)

[YummyEats] Rekindle Cafe, SS2

Rekindle Cafe
No. 27, Jalan SS2/64, 47300 PJ, Selangor
Open Tue - Thu & Sun, 12pm to 12am, Fri - Sat, 12pm to 1am

It's Saturday and guess its a good time to post this. I've been wanting to visit Rekindle and finally I had the chance today to visit with my friend for a short catch up. I went there at about 3.30pm. Definitely a peak hour in Rekindle. But thankfully, we managed to get a place for two.

Rekindle serves a wide range of drinks which includes coffee, tea, juices and cakes as well. Definitely a place for coffee and dessert lover like me.

Cappuccino (RM10)
I like it!
Rating: 4/5

The Cappuccino is good! The milk was at the right temperature and that allows to maintain the coffee flavour and texture. The latte art...hmm...maybe can still be improved. :)

[YummyEats] Double Park Cafe & Bar, SS2

Double Park Cafe & Bar
86/88, Jalan SS2/60, 47300 Petaling Jaya
Open Monday - Sunday, 12.00pm to 1.00am (Last call for food items: 11.00pm)
including eves and public holiday

This is the first time I'm sharing my eating out post in my blog. Visited Double Park Cafe & Bar in SS2 during weekend for dinner. I remember this cafe was previously the UFO Desserts and if I'm not mistaken, this cafe is quite new.

It is a suitable place for catching up with friends or just to chill on a weekend night with friends. There's live band in this cafe too. Definitely a strong competitor for Wings Music Cafe located on the same street.

So, we ordered this Curry Pork Chop Rice (RM13.90) listed in the Signature Rice section in the menu. Tasted OK and acceptable.

I ordered this Pork Chop (RM17.90) with mushroom sauce. Again, nothing special. It's rather bland and I need to eat with chilli sauce. Guess I can cook better than this.

Also ordered this Grass Jelly Shaved Ice with sweet potato, taro ball, yogurt ball and red beans (RM7.50). The shaved ice actually tasted weird. Some sort of chemical-like taste. Not sure why it tasted like that. The yogurt ball was good though.

I also ordered a glass of Honey Lemon Ice (RM5.90). Taste good but a little bit too sweet for me.

Overall, it was an average dinner on a Saturday night with bf. I think it is a suitable place for hanging out with friends because Double Park Cafe & Bar serves quite a wide variety of drinks, snacks and sandwiches.

Total Damage: RM48.20
